Be Careful How You Treat Others

Having grown up around many Christian leaders and teachers, I have seen those who have humble spirits, and those who do not. I have seen those who by way of their popularity have found themselves requiring dutifulness of those they were called to help. Just because we are called to help others does NOT elevate us to a position to rule over them. Be careful of how you treat those God has called you to help. Our teaching should always be seen as a pay it forward opportunity.

John 13:14  says; "Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet."

I agree that it feels good to empower others, to bless others, and to help others, but in the end the only one that should be glorified is God. We must abstain from seeing ourselves higher than we aught to, and requiring it from others...

Romans 12:16  says; "Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited."

We are all on the same battlefield, fighting the same enemy and under the same command.

Be Blessed, G
