Meeting God Right Where You Are
There is a quiet lie many of us believe:
We think we need to be stronger. Less emotional. More faithful. More disciplined. More healed.
But the truth?
God meets you right where you are.
Not where you think you should be.
Not where you used to be.
Not where everyone else seems to be.
Right here.
Whether you are joyful, defeated, restored, grieving, hopeful, exhausted, or barely holding it together — He is not intimidated by your current condition.
He is present in it.
When You Are Joyful
God meets you in celebration.
In the laughter that fills your home.
In the answered prayer.
In the small victory that reminds you He is still working.
Joy is not something to apologize for. It is sacred. It is evidence of grace. Scripture reminds us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. When morning comes, receive it fully.
He dances with you in delight just as faithfully as He sits with you in sorrow.
When You Feel Defeated
There are seasons when life feels heavy.
Caregiving fatigue.
Business pressure.
Marriage strain.
Grief that resurfaces when you thought you were healing.
In those moments, it may feel like heaven is silent.
But silence does not mean absence.
God is often found in the whisper — not the earthquake. In the steady breath you didn’t think you could take. In the strength that showed up when you thought you were empty.
“My grace is sufficient for you,” He says. Not when you are strong — but precisely when you are weak.
Even this season is working for your good.
When You Feel Broken
Brokenness does not repel God.
It draws Him near.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.”
He does not require you to clean up before coming close. He kneels beside you in your tears. He sits with you in the questions. He stays when others grow uncomfortable.
You may not feel Him.
You may not hear Him clearly.
But He is there.
When You Look Closely
If you begin to pay attention, you will see glimpses of Him everywhere.
In nature’s quiet beauty.
In a baby’s cry.
In unexpected laughter.
In tears that somehow cleanse your soul.
In someone checking on you at the exact right moment.
When you cannot feel His hand, look for His fingerprints.
God is not only present in dramatic miracles. He is present in ordinary mercy.
And sometimes, that is the miracle.
All Things
One of the most powerful promises in Scripture reminds us that all things work together for good for those who love Him.
Not some things.
All things.
The joy.
The disappointment.
The waiting.
The restoration.
The silence.
The breakthrough.
Even the parts you would never choose are being woven into something purposeful.
You are not forgotten in this season.
You are not behind.
You are not abandoned.
You are met.
Right where you are.
Unapologetically,
G
