Called To Love

Many times we jump into situations, projects, relationships because either it is popular at that time, it feels good to do, or someone has convinced us to do it. I know for a fact that I have not always sought God’s approval let alone guidance going into situations. I was prompted by my own desires, or encouraged by people and circumstances to just do it. Our society encourages us to “Just Do It”. So we do. I believe that we need to put things in our lives into a better perspective before we “Just Do It”.  So here is how we can know ourselves and our purpose.     Know ing Christ and having a relationship with Him better helps you to understand who we were meant to be.     Know yourself throug

Everyone has been called by God for a purpose. It may not be preaching, teaching, singing or any of the out front in your face ministry callings... but you've been called for someone and to something. Look around you, who are the people God has placed in your immediate circle. Is it a family member, coworker, fellow student, the guy at the local coffee house? Has God placed it on your heart to share words of encouragement, or help them in any way? Have you felt anxious or driven to do or say something that makes you feel uncomfortable to them? Thats God speaking to you... You are not always going to be comfortable with what God is asking you to do... or what He is asking you to become... all He ask is that you be what He has purposed you to be, and do what He has called you to do.
